Got round to joining the forum at long last
I have a T6 , bought and converted in 2016 with appx 10k miles - now at 46k
used mostly on incredible 5 & 6 week European trips
just taken the plunge to replace cam belt and water pump - wished I had joined the forum earlier as I had much conflicting advise on this - and should have drawn on members experiences !!!!!
anyway - hello !!!

Welcome to the forum.

Are you touring 2-up on your European trips or are you single-destination with a large awning plus kids? Just wondering how you manage 5/6 weeks in a relatively small space.

We travel 2 up
My wife thought I was mad to have a “van” but she probs loves it more than I do now !!!
Maybe not all the stuff I buy for it though
We do multi destinations and this year we ended up in Croatia- we stay mostly 2 - 3 days / nights at the camp sites
We have a an alpinez tent that we put up for bikes and other kit
Have pop up and an awning ( that we never use )
Space wise it’s never been a thing we have an issue with - though we aren’t the tallest people in the world lol

Good stuff. We're 'van newbies - picked-up our LWB camper early May this year. We travel 2-up, but have stayed in the UK as we find our feet. We've loved it and are considering touring on the continental next year, but perhaps not for 5/6 weeks at a time - at least not at first.

Anyhooow, enjoy the forum - lots of knowledgeable and friendly peeps, plus some decent banter.
