Hello, I've recently started converting my 65 reg T6 into a camper - and with it already having done a decent chunk of miles I'm doing my best to fix before modify (although not strictly).
The main van battery was on it's way out so I have replaced it with a 70AH battery (previous was a 68) however whenever I try to update the battery registration in Carista I get an error that the vehicle can't accept the new registration at the minute.... which might just be a carista issue.
The bigger issue I am having is with the lighting, when the van starts (and sometimes for the duration of a journey) the lights (headlights and interior) seem to flicker quite significantly, and the 'start stop error' is shown on the dash (the new battery is start stop compatible) - I also had an increased idle RPM for a short duration on occasion when stopping at junctions etc but that seems to have subsided now. Not sure if it is also worth noting that when I flash the hazards with the interior lights on, the interior light will dim while the hazard light is on.
Its been around 2 weeks since the battery change, and I've done around 600 miles so would have thought the van and the battery would be getting along by now.
New to this so let me know if there's any extra information that might make things a bit clearer..... cheers.
