Did anyone get a battery cover on their T6?

T5's had one like this...
Would this cover fit on the T6?
Looks much better covered!

Nope I didn't, it is just a felt like cover. Wish it had the old T5 plastic cover.
I think the Caravelles get the full engine cover and maybe the Cali's

No I just got a wrap around fabric type cover on Kombi Highline.

Yeah, I have the felt like fabric as well. But the T5 cover is much better. I wonder if it would fit?

Penny pinching is right, because I have the exact same cover on my Skoda Octavia! Says something when VW are using Skoda parts.

Think they (VAG) are having to save money to restore their bank balance lol.
Also, residual values are just dropping off the cliff just now. My Yeti had its engine management software updated today cos it's the offending VW lump and its trade in price is £1500 south of where it was expected to be.....needless to say I will be handing it over at the end of the lease, why pay £12k to buy a car that will probly have a book value of £10k.

Is it a proper fit or just a hole filler ?
Does it hold the vertical plastic trims seperating the battery/engine areas ?

Certainly does mate,
Had to take of the small foiled bit but slots onto there as did with T5.. I will send a pic in morning to show and ensure its a good fit..

The battery cover from my T5 does fit but looking at it again (to ensure correct infomation is provided) the cover over the light area is slightly different(light shape different on T6) and a gap between the cover and grill.

I dont think the cover in the pic can be modified either.

However, looking at old pics of T5 there is two variants of battery covers, so will try my other one tomorrow.

Don't worry mate it doesn't matter it looks like it still fits ok it's just the gap to the headlight, will have a fiddle with one and see how it goes.
Interestingly I couldn't order one for a 5.1 every time you select it on etka it loops back to t5 one even though it looks as though there are 2 versions ? One of them may have been withdrawn, if you have both versions can you send me some comparison shots please showing the differences
