Seen this today for another project and it’s local to me it’s up for £250 but he will take £200 including the quick release floor fixings .
Just wondering if that’s a decent price or to much?.

I'd say that's a bargain if its including the floor fixings (4 no.) and bolts etc and in full working order. The floor fixings alone on ebay could easily be £100.

Now whats this project you say?

Exits had a seat cover on from new so looks in good condition. Thank you

I’m going to convert my big van to a camper but it will probably be 2024 .
I seen this yesterday so thought as it has 2 seatbelts fitted to the seat it will make a good 2nd row seat But at the minute think I will make my van a 5 seater.
My big van is a VW CR_ _ _ _ _ I don’t won’t to put the full name in as I will get banished to the other site :) :)

This seat only has 1 built in seatbelt, the other is needed on the chasis FYI

It has one full belt and one lap belt I’m assuming that is still legal but to be honest won’t be used much

The side with the lap belt on will be against the van side so I’m assuming it wouldn’t be over difficult to put a proper seat belt in as the top part can be fixed to the van itself?

I've never seen a Kombi seat with a lap belt? thats not to say it isnt, It just doesnt sound right? The seat closest to the side of the van usually has the seat belt mounted to the C-Pillar. Could it be it looks like a lap belt but is actually just the belt placed there? might be worth checking with the seller.

Either way as you say you could always fit one albeit not sure how that's done on a VW C*****R. You could always look out for single VW shuttle seats, these come as singles with intgreated belt however they are a bit of a premium.

It is a removable seat so would that be the reason why it has them fitted?

So got the seat and it’s all good you are correct about the lap belt he bolted it on himself it is a VW one but like I say when it’s going to be a camper I’ll move it to the other side and fix a proper one .
Cheers
