Best fitting aftermarket gloss black upper grille

I have a VanStyle upper gloss back grille on my t6.1 and the upper right section (as you look at it), does not fit at all well. The clips will not engage correctly and/or hold the grille in place.

Is there a workaround to this or does anyone have any recommendations for a better fitting alternative?

From my experience they all seem to come from the same supplier, probably a factory in china. Me and my friend ordered from different suppliers and both had the exact same issues. You need to file away the excess material around the clips that’s left after the molding process, not ideal I know! We both found the top left corner next to the headlight has a tendency to pop out, as does the bottom grille around the fog light, especially in the warmer weather.

It’s the same with most transporter parts unfortunately, such as side bars rusting etc doesn’t matter who supply’s them they have the same issues.

It was exactly posts like this that made me get my original OEM grille painted instead of hoping that the Gods of 3rd Party Parts would smile on me.
