Best place for smoke and carbon monoxide detectors

Hi all,


Ordered a "2 in 1 " smoke and carbon monoxide detector.

Anyone got any suggestions on where this should be placed in the van?

Near driver seat? This would be near the diesel heater and gas rings, or the other end of the van near back doors
