Hi All,
New here, I’m currently looking at 4/5 year old already converted T6’s or the potential of doing one myself depending on time available.
I’ve been to view a few by fairly renowned Conversion companies and I’m really surprised in the variance in how they attached a seat/bed.
I saw one this afternoon with a Rib Bed and that had a full bar fixed to the chassis. Which then bed/seat then bolted too.
The Rusty Lee ones that have the huge plate again attached at 8 points to the chasis.
And then I’ve seen a few with Fabworx ones where it’s just 4 plates under the floor not touching the chassis at all.
What’s right and what’s wrong??? Pull testing is generally only for the seat mounted to a frame not necessarily mounted how it would be in a van.
Just the difference in opinion is huge.
Does anyone know why?
