Bike Racks In Forum Shop

Hi, in the forum shop there are two bike racks for tailgate mounting.

Both say 4 bikes and both say genuine VW

Whats the difference between the two please?

The design is different, if you look at the pictures one is the rounded bars T5 style unit and the other is the new design for the T6 and uses squarer bars and is more pointy

Having had the old style on the T5.1 and the new style on the T6 personally the new style whilst it sticks out alot more ( when not in use) is a far superior bit of kit compared to the old one. Much better quality, less parts to corrode and you can take the arms off when not in use. Just my opinion but glad I got the later version. Also works ok with standard struts on a T32 Kombi slams a bit but stays open.
