I had noticed that my camper was sitting about 10mm lower in the offside rear at the tail end of last year but just thought the adjustment had moved on the height and planned to sort it later. On closer inspection today I have realised the spring is snapped. Oddly the van drives absolutely fine and I wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for the slight dip.
Vanstyle sell replacement B14 springs for £75 but I was wondering if I could just fit this myself. Could someone in the know kindly advise?
Is it as simple as jacking the van up, putting a second jack under the trailing arm, removing the bottom bolt of the damper, lowering the trailing arm to allow the spring to be swapped out then doing the reverse to refit?
Apologies if some of the terminology is off there but just looking for confirmation of this so I don't do myself some damage. Thanks!
