I have a 2016 T6 Transporter and a round 3 years ago I fitted a Travelinlite RCD360+ headunit as the OE screen failed and started ghosting etc and the new one came with the added bonus of Andriod Auto etc.
All has been fine and dandy until just before Christmas - when we had those 3 days of fog that hung around - I didn't drive the van for a couple of days and when I did the headunit didn't turn on with the ignition, fine I thought and just pressed the on button, but then my phone wouldn't connect via Bluetooth. When you go to the phone screen it says turn the ignition on the turn on Bluetooth, rather odd as the ignition is on, when it's on and running everything other than the phone works.
With the exception of the reversing screen, when I engage reverse, you get the little ping, the sensors beep, but the screen doesn't switch to the mocked up rear view.
Sometimes the head unit just turns off while driving also, and I have to turn it on manually when starting the van and off again at the end of the journey otherwise it stays on.
Furthermore the lights around the heater controls flicker on and off while driving as does the illumination of the AC button. Sometimes when I turn on the heated rear screen you can hear the relay clicking on and off and it doesn't turn on, other times it does.
It has on a couple of occasions since all worked perfectly.
To me this sounds like a faulty ignition live or damp ingress to that part of the dash, is it a common feed to a loom at in the dash, if so are there any pointers?
