Black Awning Rail - Thule QuickFit-EasyLink Universal Mount Kit

Has anyone fixed a Thule easylink universal mount to the side of their Omtec roof bars (plan to fix it at 3 points to the plastic feet - sika)? I am looking for a black awing rail attachment to attach a stitches and steel tarp and I want to keep the all black look of my van and the only thing I can find near black is this Thule one. (I have attached pictures)

I am not even sure that the Thule is the correct diameter hole (C Chanel) for the Tarp or what material the Thule rail is made of (metal/plastic?)

also I am worried the sikaflex at only 3 points will hold the rail on - don’t want it flying off going up the M6.

I am not convinced this method world work and may go down the magnetic awning rail route - but all I have read is bad things about the magnetic ones.

Any help/ideas would be appreciated

I got a Camper Essentials rail to fit with a S+S tarp ................it's silver but you could get it powder coated.
