Black or stainless side bars?? Help me out

Looking for some help with styling my van! Previous owner hit something on the side bar which has started to peel off and rust. (Also noted some bending where the side bar fixes to the underside of the van - think I've rectified this!)
So question is, do I replace with black (probably trapezoid) or stainless. Would appreciate comments from others as I just can't decide!!

I have Starlight Blue with matt black trapezoid bars.....
