Block test result question

Hi,

I've read so many posts about coolant loss and EGR valves but can't find an answer.
My 2016 T6 150 DSG lost 700ml in 540 miles.
I've followed advice I've read on other posts and I just need a jot of advice please.
The block test was positive, after about 2-1/2 minutes the red liquid turned yellow. There are no visible leaks anywhere. Pressure tested the charge cooler and it dropped 24mbar in 45 mins. The EGR valve is wet inside, although looks like water as its not pink.
My question is, can an EGR valve make the block test positive or can it only be a cylinder head issue?
Apologies for another coolant thread.

Forgot to mention.
The van runs really well.
Starts on the button.
No mayo in the oil filer cap.
Cylinder 2 glow plug needed changing.

Seems like it’s pointing towards EGR Cooler breaking down. Best way to test /eliminate the possible problem is to blank off the water hoses from the cooler and do another pressure test. If that stays stable then you have the answer. Other than that could be cylinder head gasket or water pump which are common failures. Good luck.

Many thanks for the reply.
My EGR valve is an 04L.131.152 T
It only has one hose connected to it, I guess the other is ported through the block? Is the only way to test it to remove it or am I not seeing the other hose?
