hi
any advice appreciated..just swapped my t5 for a t6 panel van 2016..blowers are working fine on windscreen and feet but not much air is coming out of vents...will this be a cable issue ?
there doesn't seem any tension on the dial etc...
thanks in advance..

That vent in the picture is fully closed. Have you tried sliding it to the middle position to open the vent?

yeah tried all the options ie shutting all expect 1 to see if that helps...when its on four there is air coming out of the very openings to clear the door glass.

yeah done all the obvious stuff only put pics on to show the type of dials.as I've said it works on screen and floor but not powerful enough through the vents

Mine was like this, only worked properly when you forced the heater direction fully anti-clockwise

does its feel like the switch is connected to anything?

could be a blocked or stuck blend door in the airbox.

if its cable driven possible issue there too.

Did you get this resolved @Carver1356? I’m having the same issue (or very similar: Dashboard vents don’t blow at all) and I’m trying to figure out what’s involved in fixing it.

Old post but for the record you probably have a bent vent cable, which needs replaced. I have gone with a solid core cable which is less likely to kink.
