New 2020 VW T6.1 w/factory-installed Color Composition Media system. Pairs my Sony Xperia phone running Android 10, lets me assign favorites etc. just fine. Then the pairing information and all corresponding data (favorites etc) is forgotten after about a week or two. Has happened three times in two months. When connecting with USB the AA corectly switches to Maps mode, I'm unsure wether the USB connection can be a conflicting factor. I assume this could be a software glitch, but I have a hunch upgrading the firmware isn't something VW wants the end-user to do. Does anybody here know what manufacturer makes these units and wether any updated firmware may be available? Other suggestions?
