Bonnet alignment

I tried searching but couldn’t find a related thread so I’m hoping to tap into the knowledge of this forum!

I’ve fitted some brackets for a pair of ditch lights to my T6 Cali. The brackets fit using the hinge bolts for the bonnet. They were pretty easy to install however I can’t seem to get the bonnet the shut square. I’ve been fettling for ages with no joy, are there any tips or tricks I can use to help? I’ve got the ‘shut line' perfect on one side but with almost a centimetre gap on the other which not only looks odd but must be putting stress on the hinge and the bonnet catch.

I'd literally just go to a local bodyshop and ask them to help you.
