Build week?

It's now 9 weeks since I ordered my van and I'm curious as to the experiences of others regarding the build week.
How long after order placement did you receive your build week and how long overall was the delivery time?

I knew by then trouble is the build week will be on a on a code 10 till the confirm it and can move around. When it hits code 20 its confirmed as the build week. You just have to keep pestering the dealer

My build came in about two weeks after order ,but then it kept moving ,then took 10 months form order to delivery .
I think things are a bit better now

A fairly standard window van was ordered at the start of November, was advised in early January that the planned build week would be 6/2017 and the converter had the van at the beginning of March - just over four months.

16 weeks for me, ordered end Jan 2016.

My T32 Kombi 204 highline DSG took six months.

when it comes to build dates and times scales with vw theirs no logic to it, they just do what suits them. 8 months wait for me although last year was crap with the euro 6 spec change .

Mine took about 4 1/2 months from order to actual delivery

Thank you for all your replies. Was trying to get a feel for real world experience, but seems to be variable.
I'll assume a 16week delivery at best.

Well mine started build last Friday, and got my vin today - searched on https://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/check-lookup/ and it came up as

I thought from videos on you tube and other posts on this and other sites Hannover was the factory for the T6?

I went to the factory last year and it was in Hannover.

Speak to your dealer!!! You may find that you cannot have the van registered as there is a rumour that there is a STOP on registration of T6s, emission problems??

Thanks Rod, from what I have read it may not be affecting Commercial vans as I see referrals to Passenger & Cali's in various posts - but its all a waiting game, even if it gets built it may end up here for awhile

My t6 150tsi kombi was ordered in October with eta for week 3. I was informed build had slipped to week 10 and delivery up to 3 weeks later. Considering cancelling order but the only vaguely similar kombi are tdi's
