Builder messed up my RIB install.... thoughts please

So I gave my VW to 'professionals' to fit a kitchen and my RIB using the correct Kiravans fitting kit.

The kitchen they fitted didn't work with a rib and they ended up fitting the rib in the wrong place.

Because of this have drilled holes in the wrong place in chassis frame and actual fitting kit. As per picture.

A correct kitchen has now been fitted. The chassis wholes will obviously need rust proofing filled and painted or welded.

I also think it's worth getting a new fitting kit?

only issue is I think the seat is slightly in the wrong position to fit through the standard pre drilled holes..... maybe 10mm to far to the left as you look from the rear of the van?

would appreciate anyone thoughts?

So annoyed. Say they're going to sort
Gash as f... !
unreal eh......

Lost all faith in Compnay. Said they would put right. But just don't trust them. They've had my van 6 months now. Fitted 2 kitchens that didn't work. I ended up supplying my own kitchen and they have damaged that.

tempted to just pick van up and be done with it

Name and shame, or there is no point in sharing your tale. It could and probably will happen to others, and with the current madness for all things "Vanlife" there are quite a few outfits popping up who don't have the skills to be in the sector.

As above, name and shame! Don't understand why people are reluctant to name these so called 'professional' fitters when clearly they are not. Its tarnishing the great products they are fitting so badly, like the shoddy pop top installer earlier in the week. Potential new customers need to be warned...its a minefield out there.

Yes, this will be happening do not worry. I just want to get the situation resolved first

Don't worry this will be getting heavily slated on social media and the forms

Everyone makes mistakes we're only human after all. Its how things are put right and corrected that matters.

Very true but when you’re paying you expect a resolution. Obviously we’re only hearing one side of the story.
I hope there was a written specification and an agreed price prior to starting the conversion.
There are some dodgy businesses about but there are also plenty of dodgy CV’s in job applications.

Thankfully, that never blocked my career!!!
