Hi everyone, new to the forum and after advice buying caravelle t6, what to look for when going to see one out.
I found 2 that we want to go and have a look. First one looks exactly like I want, second one is just bog standard caravelle.

What do you guys think, am I being seduce with the look of the first one ? Is it too good to be true ?

What should I look at/for when I will go to check the cars?
Thank you

Hi I’m no expert but wheels and spoilers and alike are very personal ...and one is lower mileage so less wear and tear ...if you brought the black one you could add your own choice of wheels and other bolts on’s...it’s easier to put bits on
but it’s really down to the main choice which is colour..you can change a lot on a van but never the colour ( unless wrap it ) but it’s a big investment ;)

ps Service history is a must and service parts changed at the correct service intervals. ( DSG service at about 40000miles)

The first one looks very nice.
The undertakers van is probably nice too. ;)
Sorry to any owners of black T6's I've just offended . I love Blackberry, but for me black just doesn't work on a T6, but it's a subjective view and others may disagree.
Black vehicles are a nightmare to own, they look nice for a minute after they've been washed, I've had 3 and I've no idea why, after the first one I swore I'd never have a black vehicle again!

Yes agree had a black BMW hard work looking clean .....but the second van apart from the colour for me was a better base being that is was an executive with a few extra toys and lower mileage ....life is one big compromise ..but with the money your going to pay I’d still look for your perfect van.....buying a better base van then fitting wheels and stuff that you like is a better option
you often see it on the forum people buy so called soundproofed van only to find lots of school boy errors where made and you’ve got to put it right....happy hunting I’m sure the right van is out there ..option one still nice thought but don’t be fooled by the £10000 of extras added..but if It’s your dream....Haggle with the price due to COVID 19 it’s a buyers market ..just look at what some dealers are knocking of car prices

I know what you mean, I had an E39 535i Sport in Sapphire Black Metallic. Looked stunning for about 5 minutes after you washed it but you could literally watch the crap settling on it. Once I sold it I vowed that I’d never have a Black vehicle again.

First van looks stunning but you have to put looks to one side and pick one on its mechanical merits. I wouldn’t be able to drive round in the second van with it looking the way it does, but you could easily make it look like the first one, just don’t forget to allow room in your budget for all the bits.

Thanks for the advice regarding DSG service. We are going to have a look on the first van today. Tomorrow for second one.
