Cable to centre dash area

I’m trying to run a cable for a reverse camera monitor to the centre dash area, ideally under the removable trim. I can get to the side of the dash well but can’t find a route to the back area.

I’ve tried removing the glove box to find a route but can’t get to that back area.

Is it just a question of drilling a hole and hoping that I can drop a wire in which will pop out. Any ideas?

I used one of these "fish tapes" to push through the hole and fish the wires about, amongst other places.
