Cabling And Found Something...

I am in the process of converting a second hand T6 and would like to fit a leisure battery under the passenger seat - I knew there were cables under there but decided to investigate a little more before I bought any split charger, etc.

I found a live feed uncoupled already on the main battery under the hood - connected up temporarily and got a 12v DC feed whoop - the only thing is though I am not sure what the fuse used was? I have attached pics if anyone can help?

I also tested both sides of the fuse (in the seat) and only getting a feed from the cables side.

The piece of metal between the posts is the fuse. It will have its rating stamped on it. It’s called a strip link fuse

Strip Link Fuses

My t4 had the same style fuse link for the cooling fans, not the most reliable. You may have a split in the fuse link under the terminal. I’d ditch it and put a blade fuse in, only a couple of quid.
