Calais To Nerja In Feb

I've sorted the route, the standard one provided by Michelin is perfect for our journey, Calais - Le Mans - Bordeaux - Biarritz - Madrid - Granada - Nerja almost all on the motorways, it' not a sightseeing trip.

I'll stop overnight three times along the way, likely half way through France, near the border with Spain and just south of Madrid.

I have joined and searched Search For Sites which is a fabulous resource, I don't need to scrimp on Aires or wild camping, want a warm shower in a morning plus somewhere to empty a portaloo.

Whilst I've had a good look if anyone has any personal recommendations they'd be greatly appreciated.

We have used the municipal campsite in Mios outside Bordeaux on that route in the past.

The problem is that most sites are closed in February but I do have this one bookmarked for future use. We haven’t used it yet but it has good reviews Camping-KathyDave @ La Fosse De Tigne
