Yes. Switches off manually or when battery too low.
If it is an Ocean there are 2 leisure batteries that power it. The fridge is independent from the engine battery.

How can I check the battery level? It’s in the control panel?
Yes. The battery voltage and amp draw is on the control panel. Varies by model as to the full details.
