Camping power supply for DC system.

Probably a question for someone with an electrical background. I have a T6.1 with factory leisure battery plus an extra battery at the back(same type) with an (cheap Chinese amazon) inverter to supply the AC when off grid.

I also have a changover switch and a mains hookup. So it's EITHER inverter off the batteries or mains off hookup, not both.

I have a 12v fridge so it only runs off the batteries.

My question is what can I use as a mains to DC power supply that I can feed into the battery or inverter terminals off the nearby socket when on hookup. I have a Noco Genius 1 but will it's additional repair functions damage the inverter, fridge or anything else?

Many thanks.

Just to be clear at the minute you have no built in 240v charger from the EHU?

And you want to use a maintenance type charger to help top up the leisure battery when you are on EHU?

That should be fine, though I strongly suspect the one you have will not keep up with the drain from the fridge, you probably want something at least 5A

Any decent maintenance charger from NoCo/CTEK/Victron should be perfectly fine to connect with other devices.

I'd be very careful not to have the charger in use if you are running off the inverter.
