Camshaft position sensor (Carista 13179) / odd battery voltage readings

Hi all - I've just checked out p.12 on the how-to self-teach and that's not helping me, but I hope you can... I'd posted as an addition to an archive thread on Camshaft sensor fault codes, but desperately need to resolve this problem in next 24hrs or so, hence bumping it to a new thread.

50-miles into an A- and M-road journey on Saturday and the engine check amber light came on. Urrrrgh.

I managed to get hold of an OBD thing yesterday and what Carista is saying is pasted bellw. I have a receipt showing that the timing belt was replaced in late March this year, just ahead of me buying the van and it's done a few thousand miles since then.

I really need to be able to resolve this in the next 24hrs or so, as am due to go on long-drive holiday in it tomorrow night (always the way!)

There does seem to be some issue as below, because it popped straight back up rather than be wiped. However I did the diagnostics three times and the second time it returned 'no errors' re the engine, so maybe it is a faulty sensor rather than something mechanical.

Either way, I don't really want to drive hundreds of miles over the next few weeks without this being resolved beforehand, as even if it's 'just' the sensor then it might cause some other issues to start coming into play? It might actually be that there's something a bit off with the (relatively new) belt, as Carista was refusing to linger on diagnostics for a bunch of things as it said there wasn't sufficient battery power (and the starter battery was brand new last month and had just come back from a 100-mile drive the evening before).

I've been in touch with local garage but not seeming all that hopeful they'll be able to fit me in today/tomorrow :/

In additon to that, I'm confused by the Carista reading of the battery voltage: in the error detail below it notes 11.8v (even though battery was new within past month and as stated, it had come back from a 100-mile drive just the day before) but then on the Carista homescreen it's displaying numbers from 16.9v all the way up to 18.4v. This is while the van is just sat there with key in ignition but engine not on.

I'll keep refreshing my emails and checking phone in hope garage replies today to take it in, but are these things that seem particularly concerning? Strike me as so: maybe the teeth are a bit off re the cambelt, so shouldnt be driven any great distance before seen by a garage?
