Captains seat to a Double

Hi all
I want to the reverse of normal seat swap and swap my captains seat out for a double on the T6 so I can get one of the grandkids as well as the wife in. I see on the VW parts fiche that it's the same bolts, only 8 for the double instead of 4 for the captains seat. But what I need to know is are the extra captive nuts already in the floor to bolt the double onto? Any help to save me taking the seats and floor out would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

If the one you swap with is happy they can give you the bolts that you need for the seat in the swap.
Real easy swap.

The nuts you’re looking for are mounted on l shaped brackets and can be seen from underneath if you look carefully. Some vans have them already there but some don’t unfortunately

Don’t forget that there will also be V5 and insurance implications if you change the number of seats.

I'm looking for captains passenger seat instead of the double seat if you're interested in a deal ?

Originally is captains seat CAB. I've managed to the correct double airbag off eBay for much cheapness which I believe is a straight swap

Captains seat are about a grand, gave my double away so if I was you I’d store the captains seat and refit it if you ever sell the van, you’d pick up a cheap double from a converter or on line. I think you might have to lift the carpet to check on the captive nuts

Yeah, fully intend to keep the captains seat Jim . Managed to get an almost mint double very cheap. Just hope those nuts are there to fix it onto

I'm under "camper in conversion" with my insurance Ayjay so hopefully all good as I would hope with my van being a Kombi they would realise that the number of seats is going to change.
