Caravelle Conversion - Things To Consider??

I managed to get my T32 kombi fitted with rear windows from factory. As far as I'm aware this means that a caravelle interior will fit without any modifications. (due to it using the same shell as a caravelle).

I may have also sourced a near complete T6 Caravelle interior, so the question is a pretty general one.......

What things do I need to consider before doing a full Caravelle conversion?

Example considerations are as follows:

1. Should I look into getting a second hand rear heater matrix and retrofitting it?
2. If I don't fit the rear heater is the air vent / area under the plastic useful for anything?
3. Would carpet lining the van actually be better than fitting the genuine plastic interior?
4. Can I get the headlining air vents to blow hot or cold air?
5. What are Caravelles like for sleeping in?
6. On a separate note....Can you fit the caravelle climate control dash unit as a retrofit?

Any ideas of things I need to consider would be much appreciated.

Cheers!

None of that sounds like it is an easy job to do though I dare say some of the converters on here could do it

The only bit I can comment is sleeping in one is very comfortable, me and the missus plus two dogs, no problem.

On the heating and air con side, i have this fitted in my combi to keep the rear occupations happy. From what i can see with this the hot air comes out of the floor mounted unit and when i switch to cold this comes out the roof vents. All controls from the front. I will be looking at doing a caravelle type interior int he future i think with sliding seats but i dont want rear windows.
Are be watching to see how you go @gmaster ;)
