Caravelle standard number of Keys on delivery

Can somebody clear this up for me

How many keys does a new caravelle come with from new ?
I've been to look at a new one and a pre reg one
The pre reg had two fobs and a key and the new one had 4 fobs ??
Is that a no cost option
I've spoken to two different dealships since and they both say different ?

The 4 keys is paid option, about £90 from memory,

Agreed the standard on PVs/kombis is two flip keys and one rigid key or you can choose to upgrade to four flip keys for a price i assume its the same on veles/calis

I only had two flip keys with my Kombi, no rigid key

Configurator Madness - I ended up with 4 with my Kombi.
I went with twin electric sliding doors - This means you have to select 4 Keys.
Didn't want them, wanted to pay the £90 even less.

That would explain as caravelle exec has elec doors so prob forces the four key option

My panel van came with two flip keys and a standard key.

The four keys comes from specifying the electric sliding doors.

I ordered twin electric doors and it only came with 2 remotes and a fix key. When I was looking it looked to be dependant on spec level. Highline only showed 2 as an option all others 4 was an option

picked my caravelle exec up a few weeks ago and it came with 4 keys at no extra cost - but I also had one earlier in the year that I didnt accept as it got built without electric doors - that came with 2 keys - it may be a recent change as I wasnt expecting 4 keys

I called VW UK and they was not even sure
I gave them a reg number and they can't tell how many keys it rolled off production line with !!!!
It seems like there is no definite answer it must just be pot luck !!
