Caravelle Step Lights - cover only.

I've seen this has been asked before, but nothing recently. I'm tidying up my Caravelle, and the plastic covers on the step lights are a bit scuffed or cracked. It seems you can only buy a full lamp unit rather than just the cover.

Wondering if this is still the case? I'm sure someone with a 3D printer could make a mint cornering this market!

If so, does anyone have the part number to hand? Or know the best place to get them for a decent price?

They are only available as complete unite. The step light with CARAVELLE lettering is 7E5 947 415 N

i have one, removed it from o/s sliding door step, will check condition tomorrow, pretty sure it will be mint though

I am working on a design, I am no cad expert so its taking some time but I have made good progress, here is where im at with testing,
this is roughly sanded and the letters are slightly recessed, this could be used in a resin printer and it would come out way nicer.

once im happy with the progress i will release the files on thingiverse.

so i got really close, but i had a little trouble with the lip, and then i got super busy with my work, i'll link the STL file of the progress, my plan is to tape up the front and fill the letters with epoxy resin but there is also a letters STL. its not perfect but its darn close, and with a small tweak or 2 it should be perfect.

That looks good. I've modelled mine using Onshape - Onshape

I haven't printed it yet, but something doesn't look right to me. I've lined mine up to yours and my curved surface looks to be a little off. I'll just have to go ahead, print and see how it goes.
