Caravelle to Kombi floor help

Hi all

recently had a caravelle floor fitted in the rear of my Kombi.

cab floor is lower than rear and has a 10-15 mm gap, has anybody else has this problem? Suppose an aluminium strip or similar would do but can’t find one! Would like it to look like the rail covers if possible.

What are you using as a rear floor at the moment? Pic of your velle floor will help . I’ve seen a good tread on here using 12mm ply 1st then cutting up a combi floor matt the sponge one with the rubber top. Then lay altro or a 2mm ish Vinyl floor to finish this brings the levels perfect. As for the gap I’ve seen people use an alloy angle trip glued so there’s no Unsightly fixings

have the original Kombi rubber in the front and the higher caravelle floor to the rear
