Hi guys I’m looking at big brake kits and I noticed Forge are offering an option of ceramic brake pads does anyone know if they are better than standard or of any disadvantages etc

Thanks Chris I will check them out I just want to get the best information before I spend my hard earned cash
Hi, we have got the forge pads in stock.

we have made some ceramic pads for Chris @Dav-Tec on his van thats running one of our big brake kits, ceramic pads will wear down the disc quicker.

the range of pads that come with our big brake kits are all our own formula and offer great braking capabilities, we have got a new kit that runs an 8 pot caliper on a 340mm disc, this means you can run a smaller wheel in the winter and still have a BBK, this kit is priced at £1350 inc vat

we also do a 6 pot kit on a 355mm 2 piece disc for £1890 inc vat

or a 8 pot kit on a 375mm 2 piece disc that is on my van in picture below for £2220 inc vat

all kits are a straight swap onto your van and require no modification
caliper
discs
pads
brackets
braided lines

Thanks for the info does the 8 pot caliper affect the pedal travel or make it feel softer?

I've personally ran all of our kits on my van, they have no effect on the pedal feel and feels like factory but with more confidence on the road, will be giving mine a good hammering around the Nurburgring in July

I've got some big brembo calipers.. they been glass beed blasted.. so etch prime for a colour.. 200 squid.. and I'm giving them away..
