Change 240v Sockets to 110v

Hi All,

I'm thinking to import a T6 into Japan. Is it possible to change the 3-pin 240v sockets to 110v sockets? Has anyone successfully done this?

Can't see that being an issue. You'd also need to change the Consumer unit breakers and the invertor if one is fitted too

Appreciate the reply. Consumer unit breakers? Are you referring to a fuse box? Also, I assume the sockets and inverters are parts that are available from VW? Thanks!

Are you talking T6 California?

I thinking of purchasing a T7, but if it can be done in the T6 there's a good chance it can be done in the T7 too (as far as parts availability).
