Changing bench with airbag to single

I was thinking i woukd be able to keep the airbag working beacuse the bench had an airbag and the single also has one.
Thats what im hoping, someone must have done it i would have thought.
@suntan46 can you check the plug to see if the same on double as the single and matches other end of plug coming out of floor.
Also if plug different then are there the same amount or same colour wires in plug,if that’s the case could you change the plug from your double and put it on the single so then plugs in to floor?
I’m probably stating the obvious here but you would think if both seats are airbags then it’s gotta be just a case of plugging in

I've done it, however I had to cut the connector off the double seat for the airbag as they did not match. Oh yes and neither did the wire colours completely however some searching on here found the answers. I will see if I can find my post as I am sure I did one.

OK so i bought a 6.1 with double passenger seat, knowing i could swop in my T6 single passenger seat, but in their wisdom VW have slightly changed the airbag plug and wire colour.... so they are now White, green and brown, where before they were black, blue and brown. so i could take a punt with...
