Got any trim tools about?
It comes out by pulling but it’s really really tight. You can try prying it from lower edge with plastic trim tools. But probably easiest to take the glove box out, you can then help the removal by pushing from rear.
Glove box comes out by first removing the small trim panel facing the door from the end of the dasboard and then undoing torx screws in the glove box and along it’s front bottom edge, 7 in total I think.

I’m going take glove box out. Or I’ll break it ! Be easier to feed wires about with glove box out the way anyway.
What have you got to replace this panel please. I’m looking to get replace mine
I was going pit a CarPlay cable through it. But I’m going change to comfort dash now.
What are you guys fitting in place of this panel please ?
VanX do a panel that fits into that cubby hole. If you ring them you can select what fittings you want. I have a double usb port, a 12v socket and a 3 way switch fitted to mine.
