Climatic And Climatronic Controls Swap

Hi all
Does anyone know if it’s possible to swap the climatic dash controls for the climatronic ones, this is something that’s narked me from day one as I thought I was getting the climatronic version.
If it is is it a simple swap and is there any additional works required, if so any details.
Any ideas on the cost of parts would help also.

Any update on the swap?

Not yet, I’ve found the dash controls but just need to find the time to take the dash apart and see what the connections are and what’s involved.
Still want to do this so keep watching and I’ll update the tread when I finally get home and have enough time to start dismantling.

like this idea too although pricey. would rather have the OEM switches for the heated seats as opposed to mounted on the bases

Not a straight forward swap which is typical for VW, may get round to investigating further one day but no plans at the minute.
