Clock on radio display

The clock on my radio display shows 00:00, it will occasionally momentarily flicker to the correct time.

Any ideas before I pull the dash apart?

Weirdly my discover media has started doing this too very recently. Clock on the dials is fine, and no setting in the radio that i can find thats clock related. It’ll count up to 00:01 and then reset itself…

Did you figure this out?

Haven’t got to the bottom of this yet. And does sound common when the headunit is 10 years old

I seem to remember that my OEM head unit clock went to 00:00 when I disconnected the battery. It’s then corrected next time I used DAB radio. Perhaps points to a power supply issue with or to the head unit?

My clock on my 2016 T6 has done exactly the same. Clock on MFD working fine. Tried the usual reset function but no luck. Google seems to confirm this a very common problem. Touchscreen radio forwards arrow also not working. Assumed down to age. Anyone know of a cheap remedy?
