Sold Comfort Dash top glovebox - genuine VW

This is a genuine VW top glovebox that I never got round to fitting to my T6.

£50 either collected - pulborough, west sussex or can arrange delivery at cost.

What's that hole on the bottom?
Does it latch?

The hole is for USB sockets etc. Yes, think it does latch.
