I’ve got aftermarket AC on my 2012 T5.1 which has never worked. I’ve traced the fault to a snapped connector on the AC compressor clutch.
When I stick 12v onto the stubs of the terminals when the engine is running I can hear the clutch engage with a clunk, compressor starts turning and AC gets cold.
My question is… is there a simple way to fix this?
The connector is broken right off between the clutch and the compressor.
