Cool box / Fridge between front seats?

I’ve seen a few older posts where people have put a cool box / compressor fridge between the 2 front captains chairs on a T6.1.

I noticed the Dometic CF11 is now discontinued. The Indel B 18L would be perfect but it doesn’t clear the arm rests when opening.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? Ideally I want as big as possible. My van is Auto so I don't really use the handbrake so that clearance isn’t an issue, I just want something that fits that doesn’t get in the way of the arm rests.

Any help appreciated,

Thanks :)

For longer trips I am looking for a cool box that will fit in the space on the floor under the gear lever on my T6.1 manual van with a bench seat

It doesnt have to be big but I would like the option to plug one in possibly although probably just filled with ice so a box that is waterproof also to avoid leaks !

It seems that there are a few that may fit but if anyone has a specific model that fits the space well it would be great to know to save lots of trial and error especially with the lid opening with the box in position

The idea is to be able to keep drinks and snacks in there cool when we do some long distance traveling next year and so that we can access it without stopping ideally

Thanks in advance :)

Thats a good find thank you. I will have a look at those ones as that is the sort of thing I was after. I thought maybe about just being able to stop off and fill it with ice probably rather than a powered box but if they are OK that would be a good option also

I have seen these I think and they maybe are the sort I was considering. I was going to fill it with ice though. I wonder if they are waterproof as this melts ?
Reply to myself - I have just seen the cost ! They should be self cooling ! They look great quality though

Yes totally waterproof, they use the same zips as on a dry suit, iv seen them in the flesh and they are bombproof, we are saving up for one, £250 !!, so we can strap it to our paddle boards, they are totally waterproof, to keep our picnic cold and dry, I fall off a lot.. there’s lots of YouTube reviews,
The Red paddle board company also sell a fully waterproof cool bag which is very 7B9F9554-3B43-489C-87A1-9B8FA18CD83D.pngsimilar, for about 160, we are going for a smaller size yeti

They do look the sort of thing I am looking for and I think the soft bag will be easier to get into the space and not move about also
