Creaking Kiravans swivel, single.

Hi folks,

My driver's swivel (Kiravans) has been creaking for over a year now. After loosening and re-tightening various nuts n bolts I discovered the egg timer shaped pillars to be the cause. They are plastic so check their tightness and just nip them up carefully to prevel crushing the pilar. This has stopped the annoying creaking which has go on since not long after filling in 2021.


They are also not very rubust, as the front driver's side has broken.

As a reply to my own post, I fed this back to Barry at Kiravans who has also fed this back to the manufacturer in the past. They have spares and Barry is VERY KINDLY sending me a set out Free of Charge!

I was having similar problems with my swivel base, and Barry was very helpful. I'm only 30 mins from Kiravans's offices and popped down there, and spent a good few hours with Barry messing with the base. I think the problem is they come from the manufacturers not tightened up enough, so a good dose of grease and a solid nip of all the fixings resolved my problems.
