Cruise control

So just wondering if everyone's cruise is the same as my t6, as in if you reduce the speed using the buttons it does not apply the brakes but just coasts down to the selected speed? My old a6 would actually apply the brakes if you selected a drastically lower speed, assumed spankers t6 would do the same

Mine applies the brakes but I have active cruise.

Mine just works and is pretty unobtrusive.
Got it on the other cars; similar operation. I think i like the controls of the van best though.

Find it very useful on long Euro drives.
