Dashboard button usb socket removal

Probably the most stupid question… how do I pop a button or usb socket out of the dash or glovebox? Do you twist, pull, use a trim tool?

Thanks, I’m always nervous with plastic bits. I can see from pictures they just have little clips on so I’ll try with a tool.

Use the flat right angled one. Get the tip under the USB and prize it off. It’s pretty easy to do

Worked great on the dash, can’t get this one out. Do I just need to be a bit more forceful with the tools?

Got it, just needed a screw driver for the added stiffness and leverage. Thank you!

You can pretty much disassemble your whole dash with trim tools and a couple torx bits.
