DCDC Charger

Seeking some guidance please.

I want to charge my leisure battery as I drive and have found the following kit:

Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12V 30A DC-DC Charger with Pre-Crimped Leads | eBay

Victron Fuse holder for MIDI-fuse x2. Victron MIDI-fuse 80A/32V. This is a complete set pre crimped and ready to be installed. Battery Cable - Hi Flex Single PVC 110amp - 16mm² - Red (At chosen length - Starter Battery to Orion).

What's your current van (T6 T6.1 etc?)

What's your existing setup?

Pictures are very useful at this point to help the forum collective advise.

T6.1

Leisure battery currently charges when the 3 pin is plugged in.

Will add a photo of the battery this evening. It’s currently wired to a Sargent power unit.

Good pictures of the battery and the Sargent will help

The Victron Orion is a solid unit though it has been replaced by the newer Orion XS which is smaller and runs a lot cooler.

Struggling to get a decent photo of the battery!
