Devonport & Thunder Alloy wheel widths

Our Davenport alloys have 215 60 17 tyres but our Thunders have 235 55 17 ( work vans )
Is there any reason we can’t put 215 60 17 on our Thunders ? Are both wheels the same width ?

I have 235/55 on my Devonports, they came with either size.

Devonports are 215 x 60 X 17 X 7j wide with an ET of 56.
