Did this drop off my van?

Folks, I found this spring in my driveway after I moved my ‘15 California; it feels a little tacky as if it did come from my van as I spray with Lanoguard but after looking underneath it isn’t obvious where it might have come from. Any ideas?

Ashley, that’s exactly right so a great help; already repaired thankyou.

I can confirm this is the back of handbrake cable spring, the black plastic thing pushes on the end of the cable adjuster and the other dog legged metal piece goes into the cross member on the chassis. Think it’s to stop the cables rattling.
