Diesel heater.

So I’m looking at fitting a diesel heater I know I can fit a Chinese one for cheap, and have been quoted about 1400 for an eberspacher one. Just wondering what the pros and cons are of fitting on myself or paying a lot for a professional install are?

I bought a Chinese one and fitted it myself. I’m £1200 better off than if I had an Erbespacher. No doubt the expensive one is better engineered, but I have just as warm van with my cheap one. If you can fit yourself, especially if you have ramp access, it’s fairly straightforward.
