I've got a discovery media headunit part number 5C0035680G it's a high spec OEM unit. I bought it for nearly 700 bones refurbished with a new digitiser.
I had it in my T6 for a few months but it has now gone into a boot loop fault. Some days it would work as normal for a while then reset, and just freeze on the welcome to vw screen. After some searching it seems it may be down to a faulty memory chip.
I've taken it out now and fitted and alpine unit. But I'd still like to get this repaired.
Does anyone know someone who repairs VW units? Preferably with first hand experience and a good review.
The company i bought it off were not interested in helping me as it was out of the 30 day warranty, buy did offer me £100 as it was, f****ng jokers!!
