Do I need to bleed my intercooler after I’ve changed my heater plugs?

I’ve just changed all the heater plugs in my VW Caravelle T6. I’ve put it all back together and it’s running fine BUT… was I supposed to bleed the intercooler when I put it all back together?

That’s fantastic! So pleased to hear that. You don’t happen to know how to how I reset the engine management light on the dash do you?

Sorry, I don't, but I'm sure another forum member will be able to help on that.
I just changed an injector on a Nissan and after a few on / off cycles the EML went out on its own.

The yellow EML will be on due to a fault code.

So you need a scan tool to read and delete any codes.

Carista, obd11, VCDS.

The turbo intercooler is air cooled.

Are you referring to another cooler?

If you have opened the water circuit you will need to bleed it to purge air.

It’s the little radiator that lies on top of the engine. There’s a big hose around 4” diameter and 2 little crimped on hoses.

That’s the charge cooler, have you opened/discharged any coolant ?

@DieselX11 you’re not incorrect in calling it an intercooler, just in the heat exchanger world its a charge air cooler when water is the cooling medium not air. Sounds like it’s a 204ps BiTurbo?

This cooler, at the top?
