Do I need to drop fuel tank?

Hi - am adding just a double seat to rear of panel van - does anyone know if I need to drop the fuel tank to fit strengthening brackets under or can you manage without dropping? cheers

From what I remember the double seat on the offside (uk) is accessible with the tank in position, the single seat in a 2+1 configuration needs the tank to be lowered slightly. Note that IF the tank is lowered it’s much easier if just the inner bolts are removed on the tank securing bands and the outer bolts slackened.
Obviously best to run the fuel as low as you can beforehand.

cheers was hoping you would say that - i have some 8mm steel rod just in case to allow me run through the securing straps. many thanks
