Connector for the heated screen- normally connected by the ribbon to the screen

Has the screen been replaced?

Looks like a heated windscreen connector. Have you had the windscreen replaced? Maybe the fitter just forgot.

You should have another one, hopefully still connected to the windscreen on the opposite side.

YES, thank you so much it was replaced a month ago.
I’ve been stressing over this tonight as Vans thrown up engine warning codes (I think there emission/adblue/dpf related), also seems to be using quiet a bit of oil (1-2 litres in approx 10k miles) and engine sounded “tappy” and found this floating loose
